had run to a useful level when runner-up on the second of 2 Flat starts in October and was better than ever back over hurdles too, a straightforward mare who should hold her own in some good-quality handicaps; mid-division, went handy fifth, jumped on 3 out, mistake next, looked in control last, closed down late on with rider taking things a shade easy.

proved at least as good as ever back at a suitable venue (best on speed-favouring tracks); mid-field, went prominent before home turn, every chance 3 out, couldn't quite live with winner form the next but closed up on that one again run-in, pulled clear of rest.

ran about as well as she was entitled to in a much better race than those she'd been contesting; in touch, outpaced slightly entering straight, not fluent 2 out, switched to outer, ran on to take third run-in.

ran respectably in a tougher race than the Fakenham one (A Little Chaos further behind this time); soon steadied, crept closer approaching straight, untidy 2 out, no further impression.

had given the assessor plenty to go on and couldn't improve kept to 2m for handicap debut; chased leader, went on leaving back straight, headed 3 out, one paced; she may well benefit from a step up in trip now, while she's got the physique to think she ought to make a better chaser in due course.

after 11 weeks off, clearly wasn't 100% on the day, her rider not looking particularly happy from quite early on; led, joined when not fluent fifth, dropped away leaving back straight.

A good-quality mares handicap, run at a true tempo to boot, and the form is easy to explain, the first 2 well at home faced with a test of speed.
