showed improved form to get off the mark, clearly suited by the longer trip; dropped out, travelled well, headway 4 out, led next, in control when hit last, stayed on well; he's got a bit of time to run without a penalty so a follow-up success ought to be on the cards.

last on each of her first 4 outings, is bred to be much better than that and showed her first form making handicap debut after 6 months off, shaping pretty well; mid-division, travelled well, in touch circuit out, pushed along approaching 3 out, not fluent next, one paced; open to further progress, she should be up to winning from such a low mark.

Time: 5m 54.7s Closing Sectional: (2.45f): 37.10s (98.5%)

Lots of dead wood but there's hope for this form among the first 3, who comprised 2 big improvers and a last-time winner; the pace was sound from early on the last circuit.

THAT'S GONNA STING (IRE) showed improved form to get off the mark, clearly suited by the longer trip; dropped out, travelled well, headway 4 out, led next, in control when hit last, stayed on well; he's got a bit of time to run without a penalty so a follow-up success ought to be on the cards.

BOHER LAD (IRE) under a penalty, ran at least as well in defeat as when winning the time before; disputed lead, went on seventh, pushed along before 3 out, headed there, one paced.

STAUNTON last on each of her first 4 outings, is bred to be much better than that and showed her first form making handicap debut after 6 months off, shaping pretty well; mid-division, travelled well, in touch circuit out, pushed along approaching 3 out, not fluent next, one paced; open to further progress, she should be up to winning from such a low mark.

L FRANK BAUM (IRE) upped in trip, wasn't disgraced; mid-division, in touch eighth, effort after 4 out, no further impression; generally opposable.

GUITING POWER wasn't disgraced but will need to do more even from his lowly mark; mid-field, reminders second, in touch 4 out, driven home turn, hit 3 out, no extra.

TAMARILLO GROVE (IRE) might not have stayed in first-time cheekpieces; in rear, some headway eighth, no further impression.

KERRY'S LORD (IRE) without a tongue strap this time, showed nothing on first outing since leaving Joanne Thomason-Murphy after 7 months off; in rear, made mistakes, soon off bridle, beaten long way out.

ANNIE'SBOYDAVE making handicap debut, fared no better, is yet to show any ability; mid-division, soon off bridle, well beaten 4 out.

BODEKIN POINT (IRE) easy to back for handicap debut, ran poorly, lack of stamina perhaps an issue; mid-division, in touch circuit out, pushed along 4 out, weakened.

BRAVE BUCK back over hurdles after 9 months off, again ran poorly, 2 years now since he showed worthwhile form; in touch, lost place sixth, mistake next, weakened before 4 out.

HERR LARRY HEWIS showed nothing after 21 months off; in rear, went with little fluency, beaten long way out.

IT'S OSCAR (IRE) on first outing since leaving James Evans after 5 months off, ran badly; disputed lead, folded tamely before 4 out.

NEXT LOT upped in trip, making handicap debut, failed to complete; in touch, unseated rider seventh, too far out to suggest outcome.
