has done nothing but progress over fences and pulled out another chunk of improvement as he registered a third C&D success with plenty to spare after 8 weeks off, preserving his perfect record in this sphere in the process; waited with, jumped well, tanked along, took closer order from 5 out, jumped on 2 out, shaken up from last, comfortably; he hasn't yet reached his ceiling as a chaser and will continue to be hard to beat at this level.

The veteran runner-up was as good as ever, but this was all about Aworkinprogress, who continues to go from strength to strength as a chaser and was a lot more superior than the winning margin suggests.
