confirmed the promise of last time and then some (paying compliment to Jordan Sport in the process), better than ever; chased leaders, travelled smoothly, got gap 1f out, quickened to lead soon after, had bit in hand; new yard have quickly found the key to him, not far off smart now, and he'll remain of interest in these top-end all-weather handicaps.

after 3 months off and trying 6f for first time since 2015, picked up where he left off, running a cracker, and would have pushed the winner even closer given more luck; held up, typically travelled strongly, forced to wait for a gap over 1f out until inside final 1f, finished well; has the tools to develop into a smart sprinter and one to be interested in.

on first outing since leaving Marco Botti, in first-time visor, made an encouraging start for new yard; mid-field, shaken up home turn, carried head a shade awkwardly but kept on; 3-y-o campaign was a bit of a letdown but he has plenty about him physically and looked promising as a juvenile, so it would be no surprise were he to kick on again as a 4-y-o and pop up in a similar race in the coming weeks.

making all-weather debut, might have needed the run after 3 months off (has tended to need first run back after a break in the past); waited with, effort home turn, kept on; high cruising speed points to him being effective under these conditions, and next run should reveal more about current well-being.

All 10 ran.

Winning Owner: Coombelands Racing Syndicate

Time: 1m 9.87s Closing Sectional: (2.00f): 22.25s (104.7%)

A decidedly useful handicap, and strong form to boot, the winner better than ever and the runner-up totally unexposed a a sprinter, the finish likely to have been keenly contested had the latter not encountered a troubled passage; the gallop was sound.

KASBAH (IRE) confirmed the promise of last time and then some (paying compliment to Jordan Sport in the process), better than ever; chased leaders, travelled smoothly, got gap 1f out, quickened to lead soon after, had bit in hand; new yard have quickly found the key to him, not far off smart now, and he'll remain of interest in these top-end all-weather handicaps.

BOSHAM back up in trip, is merely ticking over at present, again running no more than respectably; led, tackled 2f out, headed 1f out, no extra.
