All 8 ran.

Time: 2m 5.49s Closing Sectional: (2.00f): 24.15s (103.9%)

A fairly useful handicap that looks likely to prove just ordinary form, with the market leaders both bombing out and a stop-start gallop meaning those to the fore were at an advantage, the third notably inconvenienced by how things unfolded.

STARLIT CANTATA is having a cracking season, yet to finish out of the frame in 6 starts, and proved better than ever after 4 months off to record her third success of the campaign; mid-field, travelled well, headway over 2f out, challenged early in straight, led final 100 yds, stuck to task; bound to go close again.
