DARING ARTICLE (IRE) is creeping up the weights, ran respectably; mid-field, not fluent fifth, close up 2 out, effort flattened out; will remain vulnerable from this sort of mark.

YOUR BUSY (IRE) back over fences, ran respectably; led until 3 out, led again briefly next, weakened straight.

DOUBLE SEVEN (IRE) ran a perfectly satisfactory trial for the Aintree Grand National after 4 months off, is now on a career-high mark; held up, lost place back straight, kept on, considerately handled.

HOME FARM (IRE) back down in trip, shaped better than distance beaten suggests but failed to enhance his claims for Aintree; close up, jumped boldly, led briefly 3 out, faded from next; remains one to be interested in and, still only a 7-y-o, it may be that connections opt to have another crack at the Irish Grand National this year.

CAHERONAUN (IRE) back down in trip, in first-time visor, needs respite from the handicapper, continues out of sorts; disputed lead, lost place soon after 5 out, no further impression.

KNOCKLONG (IRE) wasn't in same form as last time; waited with, driven 3 out, held when hampered next, made no impression; worth another chance.

LAST TIME D'ALBAIN (FR) back over fences, after 3 months off, run best overlooked, possibly still needed this run; held up, bad mistake second, some headway 3 out, effort proved short-lived.

COLBERT STATION (IRE) was one of the favourites for last season's Aintree Grand National but his preparations for this year's renewal were dealt a major blow here, struggling some way out and making no impression upsides Last Time D'Albain when taking a heavy fall 2 out; produced a laboured effort; held up, off the bridle long way out, switched wide early in back straight, beaten when fell 2 out.

SLEW CHARM (FR) faced a stiff task from out of the handicap; dropped out, pulled up before last, never on terms.
