faced with conditions that suit after 13 weeks off, ran one of this season's better races to capitalise on a dropping mark; mid-field, shaken up 3f out, headway 2f out, led final 50 yds.

has endured a rather disappointing campaign, again lightly raced, but went like the best horse at the weights here without usual hood; mid-field, smooth headway 3f out, led around 2f out, shaken up soon after, headed 1f out, booked for third when hampered final 100 yds, made effort earlier than ideal; he'll start next season on a workable mark.

wasn't in the same form as last time and hasn't been the easiest to catch right in the last couple of years, hard to blame conditions given his record; led main group, pushed along under 3f out, left behind over 1f out.

was below form and not for the first time didn't look keen, going with little fluency despite the step back up in trip; dwelt, in rear, raced lazily, never a threat; best treated with caution.

A useful handicap but not strong form for the level, the veteran of the field grinding out his first win of the year; the gallop was strong given the conditions and it became a slog.

GREENSIDE faced with conditions that suit after 13 weeks off, ran one of this season's better races to capitalise on a dropping mark; mid-field, shaken up 3f out, headway 2f out, led final 50 yds.

YOUNG FIRE (FR) in a less competitive race than last 2 starts, got back on track; patiently ridden, good headway under 2f out, led 1f out, edged right final 100 yds, headed final 50 yds.
