after 6 weeks off, is on a roll, improving further to follow up from Taunton in similarly game fashion, though he was helped by the third hanging his own chance away; led, jumped well in main, went with enthusiasm, jumped left second, not fluent 4 out, ridden after next, loomed up threatened 2 out, kept on gamely.

belatedly matched debut form in this sphere, needing no excuses on the day; mid-field, went prominent before 4 out, effort after, every chance when not fluent 3 out, ran on.

fairly useful over hurdles, was well backed and bettered that form making chasing bow after 7 weeks off, but likely would have won had he not hung badly in behind Boagrius all the way up the straight; mid-field, travelled well, mistake second, went prominent before 4 out, hung badly right straight, kept on; there's cause for concern after this but he has shown that he's plenty capable of winning races in this sphere, too.

back down markedly in trip for handicap debut, is bred to make a chaser but proved to be a disappointment (though was easy to back) after 7 weeks off; prominent, lost place before fourth, mistake sixth, not fluent 3 out, dropped away; should do better over fences and a return to further will suit better.

All 6 ran. Fences: 12. Race Distance Adjustment: +30 yds

Winning Owner: The MerseyClyde Partnership

Time: 3m 53.2s Closing Sectional: (3.25f): 45.70s (104.2%)

One who is obviously thriving led them home but, with 3 others close up and the third ruining his chance by hanging, the form is probably no more than ordinary for the level.
