is a totally reformed character nowadays and quickly put a rare blip behind him, proving at least as good as ever to make it 3 wins on the season, all of them coming under this excellent-value claimer; soon led, ridden over 2f out, asserted final 1f, found plenty; a rise in the weights will make life tough, but he'll continue to run well.

typically gave running, a credit to his trainer that he's been on his game virtually all season, still inching forward if anything and sure to remain competitive; dwelt, held up, travelled well, headway out wide home turn, chased leader from 3f out, kept on.

all the rage in the betting, with some strong form behind him, nevertheless ran below form tried in cheekpieces after 5 months off, lack of fitness maybe an issue, shaping that way to an extent; held up, headway under pressure 3f out, chased leaders 2f out, faded final 1f; still unexposed, he has to be worth another chance.

as usual short in the betting, disappointed in first-time cheekpieces after 6 weeks off, his season a damp squib; mid-division, in touch home turn, effort over 2f out, not quicken, weakened approaching final 1f.

easy to back, probably needed run after 13 months off, not showing much but spared a hard race, his next outing likely to give a better idea as to what he's got to offer; in rear, shaken up 3f out, made no impression.

All 7 ran. Race Distance Adjustment: +17 yds

Winning Owner: Canisbay Bloodstock

Time: 2m 40.74s

Overrounds: Industry SP 111%, Betfair SP 100.6%

The first 2 are likeable types but we already know plenty about both and that they came so far clear is indicative of the others underperforming rather than that duo finding notable improvement, the race as a whole having an end-of-season feel; the winner set a fair gallop.

NOBLE GIFT is a totally reformed character nowadays and quickly put a rare blip behind him, proving at least as good as ever to make it 3 wins on the season, all of them coming under this excellent-value claimer; soon led, ridden over 2f out, asserted final 1f, found plenty; a rise in the weights will make life tough, but he'll continue to run well.

KINEMA (IRE) typically gave running, a credit to his trainer that he's been on his game virtually all season, still inching forward if anything and sure to remain competitive; dwelt, held up, travelled well, headway out wide home turn, chased leader from 3f out, kept on.
