A competitive handicap and form that for the most part should be viewed positively, Waxies Dargle relishing the return to softer conditions and producing a career best to see off a duo that were in better heart than their most recent form figures might have suggested.

WAXIES DARGLE back on softer ground, produced best effort to date to resume winning ways, not for the first time displaying the odd quirk but well on top at the finish; mid-field, travelled well, good progress entering straight, looked slightly awkward when first put under pressure, stayed on to lead approaching last, kept going well; sure to be of interest again faced with similar conditions (revels in the mud).
