ended a longish losing run with the run of things very much in her favour back at a track where her form figures now read 31351; dictated, quickened over 2f out, in command final 1f, driven out; circumstances are unlikely to be so favourable next time.

in a change of headgear, wasted no time getting back to form, sticking at it but never looking like getting to the winner; in touch, effort under 2f out, kept on.

hasn't won for ages but he's never been lower in the weights and shaped fairly encouragingly after 12 weeks off, worst placed of all when the pace lifted and seeing it out well; dropped out, effort under 2f out, took third final 100 yds, not knocked about; he went close from higher marks a few times last all-weather season.

had no excuses at short odds, well placed but not picking up, not the first tame finishing effort of his career even if Lingfield suggests there are handicaps in him from this mark; chased leader, effort under 2f out, not quicken.
