followed up from last time and is progressing well, winning 3 of his last 4 starts, all of those victories coming for this rider; held up, pushed along over 2f out, had to weave way through, led close home, edged right, had bit in hand; he's firmly in the groove at present and is sure to go well again, set for no more than a token rise in his mark given the distances involved here.

showed the benefit of his return from a break last time by bouncing back to his best; mid-field, pushed along over 2f out, edged ahead inside final 1f, headed late on; he's found it tougher this year having gone through the grades in 2024 but gives the impression he's up to winning from a BHA mark in the 90s.

gave the firmest indication yet that he's a better horse on all-weather as he produced best effort to date back on this surface after 3 uninspiring efforts on turf; broke well, led, chased leader before halfway, led again over 1f out, headed inside final 1f, bumped close home, kept on.

was strong in the betting but failed to build on the promise of last run, not really going through with his effort fully having improved to have every chance; patiently ridden, headway over 2f out, challenged inside final 1f, hung left, no extra final 100 yds.

was a big drifter close to the off and shaped as if needing the run in first-time cheekpieces after 4 months off; in touch, pushed along over 2f out, carried head awkwardly, headway over 1f out, effort flattened out.

A heaped finish despite this being run at a better gallop than might hve been feared for a small-field sprint, the highly progressive Coul Angel quickening up best from off the pace and scoring a shade cosily.
