An interesting 3-y-o handicap but undoubtedly a muddling one on the day, no real pace on and a couple didn't get the best of runs, while those held up stood little chance.

DANGER ALERT produced a career best to resume winning ways, the emphasis on speed suiting one with a good turn of foot; mid-field, raced freely, smooth headway 2f out, pushed along 1f out, quickened to lead close home; will contiue to give a good account.

HIATUS (IRE) ran well in a muddling race upped in grade, again not settling but coming through with a strong challenge back down in trip this time; mid-field, pulled hard, headway to lead over 1f out, hung left, headed close home.

REVISION ran well after 4 months off, the fact he managed to box on again for third having met some trouble probably down to how easy a time of things he had on the front end; soon led, headed 1f out, ridden when hampered final 1f, kept on, had the run of the race.

MOGOK VALLEY (IRE) confirmed previous form on the back of a 6 lb rise in the weights; close up, pushed along 2f out, led briefly over 1f out, no extra near line, well positioned.

THE X O (IRE) shaped better than the bare result and is likely still on a workable mark; held up, headway over 1f out, kept on, would have benefited from a stronger gallop; remains with potential.

AMY SANTIAGO making handicap debut, shaped better than the bare result; in rear, outpaced 2f out, kept on, nearest at the finish, would have benefited from a stronger gallop; remains with potential.

IGNAC LAMAR (IRE) claimer ridden, wasn't disgraced; slowly into stride, in rear, headway 2f out, effort flattened out, not ideally placed.

MAHARAJAS EXPRESS well backed, wasn't seen to best effect making handicap debut in a muddling contest after 11 weeks off; prominent, challenged over 1f out, ridden when badly hampered final 1f, not recover.
