after 4 months off, having returned to former trainer, has gone well fresh in the past and looked at least as good as ever as he ran out a comprehensive winner, the drop back to 5f on this turning track looking tailor-made for him; dwelt, chased leader, raced freely, switched approaching final 1f, produced to lead inside final 1f, won readily; unexposed at this trip and looks sure to give another good account next time if faced with similar circumstances.

had gone close in a similar event last week but, in a change of headgear (first-time visor), proved to be a disappointment; pressed leader, loomed up over 1f out, edged ahead soon after, headed final 1f, weakened.

Quite a weak handicap, especially with the favourite failing to meet expectations, but there are still reasons to be positive about the winner, who took this with a bit in hand.

PABLO DEL PUEBLO (IRE) after 4 months off, having returned to former trainer, has gone well fresh in the past and looked at least as good as ever as he ran out a comprehensive winner, the drop back to 5f on this turning track looking tailor-made for him; dwelt, chased leader, raced freely, switched approaching final 1f, produced to lead inside final 1f, won readily; unexposed at this trip and looks sure to give another good account next time if faced with similar circumstances.

EM JAY KAY had given the handicapper a fair bit to go on prior to belated debut in this sphere but ran well; raced off the pace, progress halfway, shaken up entering straight, kept on well, nearest at the finish.

ORNATE without the headgear this time, is now on a career-low mark and took a small step back in the right direction; led, headed over 1f out, one paced.

MICK'S SPIRIT had gone close in a similar event last week but, in a change of headgear (first-time visor), proved to be a disappointment; pressed leader, loomed up over 1f out, edged ahead soon after, headed final 1f, weakened.

NUBOUGH (IRE) back under a fully-fledged rider, followed a below-par effort with an even worse one, seemingly caught out by this sharp 5f; mid-field initially, uncomfortable with pace, never a threat.

RAMDON ROCKS going right-handed for the first time since debut, again ran below form; slowly into stride, in touch, hung badly left after 1f, left behind from 2f out.

AUTUMN FLIGHT (IRE) ran poorly; reared leaving stalls, raced off the pace, took strong hold, driven halfway, never dangerous; not one to be interested in at present despite dropping mark.

I'M MABLE again finished well held; slowly into stride, always behind; no longer worth a rating.
