A well-run listed event that looks solid form for the grade, even with the favourite amiss, a pair of very solid operators split by a lightly-raced improver in a very tight finish.

BELLOCCIO (FR) maintained his unbeaten record on synthetics, digging deep to prevail in a tight finish; waited with, steady headway from 3f out, upsides over 1f out, edged ahead close home; he's a likeable individual who's worth his chance back at an even higher level, though he may have to go on his travels to find opportunities.
