justified her connections' enterprise by adding a listed success to the handicap she'd won (from a mark of 80) just 6 days earlier, coming in for a well-judged ride but fully responsive on her part and plainly improving fast at the minute; led, quickened under 3f out, went clear well over 1f out, kept going well.

has ended the year in disappointing style, back-to-back odds-on reverses since stepping out of handicap company, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with his Newmarket form and he ought to be the type to get back on the up at 4 yrs; tracked pace, chased leader under 3f out, not unduly punished once it was apparent he wasn't making any impression on winner.

looked an interesting buy out of Sir Michael Stoute's yard (sold 82,000 gns), previously unbeaten on synthetics, but was easy to back and offered little immediate encouragement after 9 weeks off, perhaps set to be brought along gradually by new yard; mid-field, effort when carried head bit awkwardly under 3f out, not quicken.
