well backed, took his all-weather record to 4 wins from 5 starts, doing well under the circumstances given this speed test wouldn't have suited him ideally; raced wide, mid-field, raced freely, good headway 2f out, led final 1f, edged right, stayed on, would have benefited from a stronger gallop; will remain of interest.

ran creditably back up in trip, had every chance but dug deep to force a less-exposed sort to work hard; led, ridden 2f out, headed final 1f, carried right, stuck to task, had the run of the race.

still looks to be on a good mark after a rise for recent win and shaped well over 2f longer trip, unlucky not to finish closer; mid-field, travelled well, headway when no room 2f out, forced to switch, stayed on, nearest at the finish; will remain of interest.

shaped similarly to last week, not getting things run to suit, but he isn't the easiest of rides anyway; dwelt, held up, short of room over 1f out, switched, kept on, never a threat, would have benefited from a stronger gallop.

didn't run badly on form but this was a muddling contest and he didn't look the most enthusiastic; slowly into stride, in rear, went with little fluency, headway 2f out, plugged on.

All 7 ran.

Winning Owner: Weston Brook Farm & Bromfield

Time: 3m 32s Closing Sectional: (3f): 34.9s (114%)

Overrounds: Industry SP 110%, Betfair SP 101.7%

A useful handicap with a couple of progressive types split by one that had the run of things dictating a steady gallop, the third shaping much better than the distance beaten suggests having met serious trouble in running.

IMPERIUM (IRE) well backed, took his all-weather record to 4 wins from 5 starts, doing well under the circumstances given this speed test wouldn't have suited him ideally; raced wide, mid-field, raced freely, good headway 2f out, led final 1f, edged right, stayed on, would have benefited from a stronger gallop; will remain of interest.

DANCE TO PARIS ran creditably back up in trip, had every chance but dug deep to force a less-exposed sort to work hard; led, ridden 2f out, headed final 1f, carried right, stuck to task, had the run of the race.

AMTIYAZ still looks to be on a good mark after a rise for recent win and shaped well over 2f longer trip, unlucky not to finish closer; mid-field, travelled well, headway when no room 2f out, forced to switch, stayed on, nearest at the finish; will remain of interest.

MONJENI shaped similarly to last week, not getting things run to suit, but he isn't the easiest of rides anyway; dwelt, held up, short of room over 1f out, switched, kept on, never a threat, would have benefited from a stronger gallop.

ALFREDO (IRE) didn't run badly on form but this was a muddling contest and he didn't look the most enthusiastic; slowly into stride, in rear, went with little fluency, headway 2f out, plugged on.

CLEONTE (IRE) fared no better; prominent, ridden 3f out, weakened final 1f.

COSMELLI (ITY) was below form, not finding much for pressure, but still not beaten far given the steady pace; prominent, ridden over 2f out, weakened.
