backed at longer odds, progressed again with sights raised beyond handicaps to upset some better-fancied rivals after 6 weeks off, though a few of those weren't on their game and Bannixtown Glory was the recipient of another ace Bass ride from the front; dictated, quickened home turn, threatened between last 2, wandered briefly, kept on; still, whether or not she'd uphold this form another day probably matters little to connections following this securing of Black type.

stepped up the form of her winning comeback up in grade, benefiting from the step up in trip, likely in fact to have been suited by a sterner test at it; mid-division, effort after 3 out, stayed on, took second run-in.

is a smart and splendid mare but hasn't gone without the odd bump in the road during her overall progress, hitting something of one here faced with a clear opening at the weights, hard to believe the longer trip was any sort of excuse in a falsely-run race at it, fitness not a valid one, either, following a spin on the Flat; she chased the leader from the off but came under pressure entering the straight and couldn't get on terms, even run out of second after the last; in mitigation, she did get stronger the more she raced in her stellar 2019/20 campaign.

stayed rather than improved for the longer trip, though she may be the sort who's best in a properly-run race, more a galloper than quickener, as her handicap win here 2 weeks earlier had highlighted; mid-division, effort home turn, stayed on gradually.

hasn't fired in 2 starts back, disappointing considering the strides she'd made as a novice, when she'd looked destined for even better things; mid-division, outpaced approaching straight, no threat after; questions to answer now.

The order didn't change much behind an all-the-way winner in a tactical listed event for mares, one notable not only for the good ride on Bannixtown Glory but also the favourite's underperformance.

BANNIXTOWN GLORY (IRE) backed at longer odds, progressed again with sights raised beyond handicaps to upset some better-fancied rivals after 6 weeks off, though a few of those weren't on their game and Bannixtown Glory was the recipient of another ace Bass ride from the front; dictated, quickened home turn, threatened between last 2, wandered briefly, kept on; still, whether or not she'd uphold this form another day probably matters little to connections following this securing of Black type.

GETAWAY TOTHEROCK (IRE) stepped up the form of her winning comeback up in grade, benefiting from the step up in trip, likely in fact to have been suited by a sterner test at it; mid-division, effort after 3 out, stayed on, took second run-in.
