after 7 months off, looked as good as ever in winning this for the second year in succession; chased leaders, shaken up home turn, led 2 out, stayed on well; he wasn't seen much last season but did go on to finish an excellent second in the Christmas Hurdle here, a race that will presumably be on his agenda again.

finished behind Silver Streak on these terms in the Christmas Hurdle here last December and did so again, a little disappointing considering she ran two excellent races in big handicaps on the Flat this summer; in touch, effort entering straight, driven after 2 out, one paced.
