followed up from last time with an even better performance, as expected seeing out the longer trip well; in touch, forced wide from end of back straight, hung left 2f out, effort approaching final 1f, stayed on to lead line; he may have more still to come at 2m, one to be interested in again.

returned to form from out of the blue, seeing out the longer trip well, this battling performance far more like his win here rather than the lifeless efforts in between; in touch, outpaced over 2f out, rallied over 1f out, led inside final 1f, kept on well but edged out on line; needs to prove that he can back this up, but evidently on a fair mark if able to.

shaped as if still in good form but didn't see things out as well as he might've, albeit in a slightly better race than he usually contests; raced off the pace, travelled better than most, in touch end of back straight, every chance over 1f out, weakened approaching last ½f.

was below form on first outing since leaving Chris Wall after 5 months off; raced off the pace, struggling over 2f out, made no impression, albeit not persevered with once held; he was struggling when last seen, but new yard are capable of reviving similar types and his next run ought to reveal more.

All 7 ran.

Winning Owner: Bighouse Syndicate

Time: 3m 33.13s Closing Sectional: (3.00f): 37.10s (107.8%)

A modestly-run handicap in which a couple of low-mileage sorts fought out the finish, though with a couple of underwhelming efforts in behind, including from the favourite, it perhaps wasn't as competitive as it might have been.

MOURIYANI (USA) followed up from last time with an even better performance, as expected seeing out the longer trip well; in touch, forced wide from end of back straight, hung left 2f out, effort approaching final 1f, stayed on to lead line; he may have more still to come at 2m, one to be interested in again.

VIBRANCE had winning run ended, running respectably but her performance lacked the zest of her recent starts; close up, led briefly approaching final 1f, one paced.

JAM SESSION (IRE) ran to a similar level as last time, having had the run of things; soon led, headed approaching final 1f, no extra; he was reported to have returned lame, a concern given his profile.
