returned to winning ways and despite now being a 9-y-o, proved at least as good as ever, no doubt benefiting from the return to 6f; mid-field, travelled well, smooth headway over 2f out, quickened to lead over 1f out, went clear soon after, kept on well, won readily; consistent and likeable type who should continue to give a good account.

again ran well and has clearly returned in good heart, though typically hindered his chance at the stalls and with his losing run now spanning nearly 2 years, he will likely remain vulnerable for win purposes; slowly into stride, in rear, smooth headway over 2f out, shaken up soon after, challenged final 1f, kept on.

again ran creditably, a 7-lb rise maybe finding him out in a stronger contest, though a wide draw didn't help; soon led, ridden over 2f out, headed approaching final 1f, one paced; he's still learning the ropes of the sprinting game and strikes as the type who has a bigger performance in him, so one to keep on the right side.

in first-time blinkers, as expected stepped up on his reappearance run, this one of his better recent efforts; mid-field, pushed along 2f out, kept on inside final 1f; has dropped back down to his last winning mark and still remains lightly-raced, so is one to be interested in.

back on all-weather, wasn't seen to best effect after being denied a run, certainly shaping as if still in good form; held up, ridden over 2f out, short of room from over 1f out, never a threat.

Solid handicap form, the gallop being sound and the winner putting up a career-best at the age of 9, with excuses thin on the ground in behind.
