less exposed than rest, back on polytrack, improved after 3 months off, looking a smart colt in the making; held up, travelled strongly, headway 2f out, quickened to lead 1f out, kept on well, won readily; remains to be seen whether he needs a synthetic surface to be seen to best advantage, but sure to improve further and well up to winning more races.

who again sweated up beforehand, is quirky but he stuck to his task well and ran best race; chased leader, ridden over 2f out, carried head awkwardly, kept on, every chance inside final 1f, not quicken close home; likely to continue in form.

one of the least exposed and by no means harshly dealt with, off a mark 6 lb higher than last time, was strong in betting, after 8 weeks off, but ran well below expectations, with little obvious excuse; waited with, not settle fully, ridden over 2f out, made little impression.

A useful handicap; the unexposed Homage was all the rage in the market, but it was one who'd had even fewer chances that won in style, the form of a well-run race worth viewing positively.

SLOANE AVENUE (USA) less exposed than rest, back on polytrack, improved after 3 months off, looking a smart colt in the making; held up, travelled strongly, headway 2f out, quickened to lead 1f out, kept on well, won readily; remains to be seen whether he needs a synthetic surface to be seen to best advantage, but sure to improve further and well up to winning more races.

MUSADDAS ran creditably; in touch, ridden over 2f out, kept on well final 1f, never landed a blow; wouldn't be sure to stay beyond 1m on pedigree but worth trying over further.

ZAMPA MANOS (USA) ran respectably after 10 weeks off, possibly just in need of the run and doing enough to suggest he's dropped to a fair mark; in touch, effort 2f out, every chance 1f out, no extra final 100 yds.

SILVERHEELS (IRE) ran respectably, though, as when second here on his penultimate start, had a race run to suit and might have done better as a result; in touch, ridden over 2f out, not quicken.
