one of the least exposed, came out on top back on polytrack over this 2f longer trip after 6 months off, deserves extra credit given how hard he pulled, is going the right way; prominent, pulled hard, led over 1f out, kept going well; will continue to give good account.

back down in trip, ran well on first outing since leaving Gerard Butler after 4 months off, is proving consistent; held up, headway 2f out, kept on, needs emphasis more on stamina; likely to continue in form, should prove suited by a return to 1¾m+.

making handicap debut, ran creditably in a muddling affair and only had 3 starts in this sphere so may do better yet; mid-field, driven 2f out, kept on, would have benefitted from a stronger pace; still unexposed.

run best excused; held up, outpaced when tempo lifted, late headway, unsuited by the way the race developed; type to bounce back quickly, worth a try at 1¾m.

A fairly useful handicap which was run at a steady pace and the favourite had no chance the way this went, but the winner deserves plenty of credit as he never really settled but still ran on strongly, while the second is a consistent sort.

JAKEY (IRE) one of the least exposed, came out on top back on polytrack over this 2f longer trip after 6 months off, deserves extra credit given how hard he pulled, is going the right way; prominent, pulled hard, led over 1f out, kept going well; will continue to give good account.
