upped her game again in thwarting a course specialist from a 5 lb higher mark than at Ayr, but the fact is she's beaten only 10 rivals across her 3 chase wins to date and whether she can dominate something more competitive is clearly open to doubt for all she does have a couple of clear attributes in terms of jumping and resolution; made all, jumped boldly, threatened from home turn, responded well to see out extra distance thoroughly.

ran another cracker against a less-exposed rival going the right way, having bumped into Margaret's Legacy since seeing off a veteran for his Haydock win; waited with, smooth headway 3 out, loomed up straight but unable to get past under pressure from 2 out despite trying hard; he's now completed 11 times at Kelso and never finished outside the frame.

furthered what has been a disappointing season since his big-money purchase, having less on his plate in terms of stamina and competition (also looked in better condition than he had at Cheltenham first time back) yet ending up beaten a long way again; pressed leader until 3 out, lost second soon after, weakened.

couldn't have been any more lacklustre, a performance totally at odds with his back-on-song display over a shorter trip at Haydock, jumping ponderously, never going well and left behind from 4 out; he'd gone up 6 lb for his win but was placed behind a couple of smart novices in a listed handicap from this mark last spring.

All 4 ran. Fences: 16.

Time: 5m 43.4s Closing Sectional: (4.15f): 63.2s (104.4%)

Overrounds: Industry SP 109%, Betfair SP 100.6%

Only half the quartet turned up but one of those rarely fails to run his race around here and it was a bold-jumping novice who managed to keep him at arm's length as the pair pulled right away.
