had not been able to get to grips with the all-the-way winner on reappearance 5 weeks earlier but was impressive with the boot firmly on the other foot this time; dictated, kicked on 2f out, found plenty; this clearly panned out well for her but she looks a progressive type all the same and can prosper further, particularly upped to 1½m, a Group 1 entry in the Fillies and Mares on British Champions Day implying as much.

again gave her running, always well positioned behind the leader, but was no match for her less-exposed rival in the final analysis; tracked pace, ridden over 1f out, no extra late on.

was ridden with much more restraint upped in trip after a 12-week absence and swiftly got back on track, deserving extra credit given such tactics put her at a disadvantage the way the race developed; dropped out, headway over 2f out, kept on well inside final 1f; she's sure to progress again granted a stronger pace at 1¼m and can win from this mark.

has a win in the mud here that stands out in her record but she's not well treated judged on all other form and was readily left behind after another 3 months off; chased leaders, outpaced from 2f out.

found this in marked contrast to her latest outing, the lack of pace doing her no favours whatsoever, poorly placed tactically and requiring a stiffer test anyway at this trip; waited with, took keen hold, switched 3f out, brief headway 2f out, weakened approaching final 1f.

A quite valuable fillies' handicap that went to a 3-y-o for the fifth time in 6 renewals; it was very much a tactical affair, the time over 2 seconds slower than the handicap that closed the card, but the all-the-way winner looks progressive anyway, while the third did well to make inroads from last.

HOT FLAME had not been able to get to grips with the all-the-way winner on reappearance 5 weeks earlier but was impressive with the boot firmly on the other foot this time; dictated, kicked on 2f out, found plenty; this clearly panned out well for her but she looks a progressive type all the same and can prosper further, particularly upped to 1½m, a Group 1 entry in the Fillies and Mares on British Champions Day implying as much.
