belied a 10-week break since his second Sunday Series success to follow in the footsteps of a contrasting type in Letsbefrank by landing the £100,000 bonus for a trio of wins across the 6 fixtures, well into his fifth year racing yet thriving to the extent he's never been even nearly as good as he is now; raced near side, chased leader, travelled powerfully, ridden over 1f out, edged ahead close home; he isn't on the same path as fellow Sunday Series success story from 2024 American Affair (subsequent Group-1 winner) but certainly gives the impression he can hold his own in something like the Portland and possibly a bit beyond handicaps as well.

The high stalls included some trademark trailblazers but that alone doesn't explain the dominance of 3 of the quartet to race in that smaller group, with a track bias clearly at play on the last of 3 successive days of racing at the course; as a result, most of those on the 'wrong' part of the track can have their heavy defeats overlooked.
