was back up in trip for the first time in a while and bounced back to his best to show his York experience had left no lasting negative effect; raced well off the pace, pushed along under 3f out, headway when forced to switch entering final 1f, led final 100 yds, had bit in hand; the 7f programme at pattern level is well established but he'd need to do a bit more in races like the Lennox and City of York.

went one place better than in a weaker similar event on her reappearance, confirming that she's better than ever for her new stable this year; slowly into stride, held up, pushed along 3f out, headway over 1f out, ran on; this sort of form is on a par with the level usually required for something like the Oak Tree Stakes at the Goodwood Festival.

A smart field for this Group 3, including the last 2 winners Jumby and Pogo and the form looks up to scratch, Tiber Flow quickly putting an unpleasant experience at York behind him to show that he's as good as ever; the pace was predictably a sound one.

TIBER FLOW (IRE) was back up in trip for the first time in a while and bounced back to his best to show his York experience had left no lasting negative effect; raced well off the pace, pushed along under 3f out, headway when forced to switch entering final 1f, led final 100 yds, had bit in hand; the 7f programme at pattern level is well established but he'd need to do a bit more in races like the Lennox and City of York.

JUMBY (IRE) again ran below form; slowly into stride, held up, pushed along over 2f out, made no impression.
