without usual tongue strap and upped in trip, got off the mark over fences after 10 weeks off, this the first leg of a double on the card for a yard which has been struggling, albeit seen to maximum effect; disputed lead, jumped on seventeenth, driven 3 out, edged left approaching last, closed down run-in, just held on.
