An interesting feature despite the small field and it produced a good finish between 2 progressive fillies, the pair pulling a little way clear of the unexposed third.

ZIP ALONG (IRE) found more improvement to land the hat-trick and remain unbeaten this season, this race a more solid piece of form than her first handicap win; mid-field, ridden over 2f out, good progress over 1f out, stayed on to lead approaching last ½f, hung left; she's open to further improvement and her strength in the finish was notable once again, 7f likely to bring even more out of her.

GORGEOUS NOORA (IRE) again ran well, eking out a little bit more improvement, just vulnerable to a 3-y-o that's on a stiffer upward curve than her; slowly into stride, in rear, smooth headway 2f out, challenged 1f out, carried left last ½f, no extra final 100 yds; she's a likeable type and will continue to give a good account.

QUEENS GIFT (IRE) ran creditably on handicap debut, not building on her wins just yet but aquitting herself well behind 2 more experienced sprinters that are both on the up; tracked pace, travelled well, produced to lead over 1f out, tackled inside final 1f, edged left, no extra last ½f; she remains with potential and will stay 7f.

SHOW STEALER again ran below form without the excuses this time; mid-field, pushed along over 2f out, threatened over 1f out, not quicken final 1f.

MAID IN INDIA (IRE) fared little better after 8 weeks off, again nowhere near the level of her C&D win (which has worked out well); forced pace, ridden under 2f out, folded.

UNDER THE COVERS failed to back up her emphatic - and perhaps dubious - Goodwood win after 9 days off, her connections unsurprisingly getting her out under a penalty given the rise she's due for that; helped force pace, weakened under 2f out; she's a big unit and may well be at home with more give in the ground.
