was back down in grade after a good fourth in the Temple over C&D 13 days ago and matched his very best form to record a first listed win; made all, joined inside final 1f, dug deep under pressure and proved very determined; he's most straightforward and likeable which will continue to stand him in good stead, but to be competitive in the Kings Stand - his reported next target - he will need to progress again.

is thriving this year and improving all the time, this another excellent effort in defeat, showing smart form; held up, travelled strongly, headway when switched over 1f out, challenged inside final 1f, kept on but always just held by game winner; he seems sure to go well again in his current mood.

was back down in trip having pulled too hard on her reappearance and returned to form with that under her belt; in touch, headway over 1f out, one paced; she's still lightly raced and has plenty of options, with plenty of suitable fillies sprints about that'll probably be easier than this.

looks on the way back, this a step up on his last 2 efforts, and it was in the second half of last year that he was at his best; chased leaders, pushed along 3f out, stayed on, no match for principals.

For a listed sprint this was lacking strength in depth, half of the field officially rated in the mid 90s, but it was 2 of the classier ones that fought out a tight finish and pulled clear, both of them running well up to the standard you'd expect at this level.

FINAL VENTURE was back down in grade after a good fourth in the Temple over C&D 13 days ago and matched his very best form to record a first listed win; made all, joined inside final 1f, dug deep under pressure and proved very determined; he's most straightforward and likeable which will continue to stand him in good stead, but to be competitive in the Kings Stand - his reported next target - he will need to progress again.

KYLLANG ROCK (IRE) is thriving this year and improving all the time, this another excellent effort in defeat, showing smart form; held up, travelled strongly, headway when switched over 1f out, challenged inside final 1f, kept on but always just held by game winner; he seems sure to go well again in his current mood.

ROSIE BRIAR was back down in trip having pulled too hard on her reappearance and returned to form with that under her belt; in touch, headway over 1f out, one paced; she's still lightly raced and has plenty of options, with plenty of suitable fillies sprints about that'll probably be easier than this.
