can't be the easiest to train, off 12 months prior to this return and given another breathing operation for good measure, but is progressive when making it to the track and ran a cracker back down in trip; held up, shaken up 3f out, headway on inner soon after, kept going well, just failed.

without the headgear after 9 weeks off, ran best race, but had every chance and this merely serves to underline that his new mark is on the harsh side; prominent, not settle fully, shaken up around 2f out, carried head bit awkwardly/hung right, upsides over 1f out, no extra final 100 yds.

might have needed the run after 10 weeks off; led, shaken up over 2f out, hung right under 2f out, headed over 1f out, no extra final 1f; has been prolific this year and should be up to making more of an impact at this sort of level next time.
