came out on top down in grade, not needing to match his best but worth credit for winning a small-field race that didn't suit his style; mid-division, challenged over 1f out, led post; he's got a Diamond Jubilee entry and is the type to excel himself if taking his chance there, though his winning opportunities will be at listed/minor pattern level.

had more to find on form than the market suggested but shaped better than the bare result and remains with potential, not least when he gets a big-field scenario; mid-division, travelled well, not clear run from 2f out, switched entering final 1f, ran on.

back on turf, wasn't in the same form as last time, though it was a stiffish task; prominent, ridden 2f out, bumped entering final 1f, no extra.

A good standard for the track and the result was the one the form book and the market suggested, though the nature of the race - it was a steady pace for a sprint as the field made for the stand rail - means it's hardly robust form.

SIR DANCEALOT (IRE) came out on top down in grade, not needing to match his best but worth credit for winning a small-field race that didn't suit his style; mid-division, challenged over 1f out, led post; he's got a Diamond Jubilee entry and is the type to excel himself if taking his chance there, though his winning opportunities will be at listed/minor pattern level.

LAUGH A MINUTE had more to find on form than the market suggested but shaped better than the bare result and remains with potential, not least when he gets a big-field scenario; mid-division, travelled well, not clear run from 2f out, switched entering final 1f, ran on.
