won his maiden by a wide margin on heavy ground and relished the conditions once more to produce his best performance yet, going with more fluency than the smart favourite and keeping on well; led first 2f, travelled well, led again 1f out, stayed on.

leaves the impression he's not entirely straightforward and was unable to take advantage of another good opportunity, seemingly just as likely to hit the frame without winning at the top level as he is in this lesser company; awkward leaving stalls, close up, led after 2f, headed 1f out, wandered, kept on.

Scrutineer is only a 3-y-o and stepped his form up a notch to get the better of the talented, but possibly not straightforward, Danzeno, the pair of them pulling a long way clear.

SCRUTINEER (IRE) won his maiden by a wide margin on heavy ground and relished the conditions once more to produce his best performance yet, going with more fluency than the smart favourite and keeping on well; led first 2f, travelled well, led again 1f out, stayed on.

NINJAGO had work to do on these terms but ran respectably in first-time cheekpieces after 9 days off; in rear, outpaced, plugged on.
