had shaped well in a better race the time before and, with her yard right back among the winners of late, had little issue carrying a penalty to land her second listed race of the season; waited with, smooth headway over 2f out, produced to lead over 1f out, always just in control thereafter; she's a likeable filly, though with a pedigree like hers it may be that the paddocks beckon now.

after 7 weeks off, improved again, fully holding her own at this level, perhaps with even more to offer as she gains experience, while she looks worth a try at 1m at some stage too; mid-field, challenged under 2f out, edged right final 1f, ran on.

under more testing conditions, took a step forward upped in grade after 7 weeks off, beaten in a 0-80 the time before but little reason to doubt this effort; in touch, close up over 2f out, carried right briefly inside final 1f, kept on.

ran respectably back up in grade/on testing ground, briefly looking like she might mount a challenge; soon steadied, shuffled back slightly around 3f out, headway under 2f out, edged right final 1f, one paced.

seemed unsuited by conditions stepping up in grade, while racing closer to the middle of the track than the rest probably didn't help either; chased leader, effort 2f out, left behind gradually, not unduly punished; remains capable of better.

Form that's easy to explain, the winner the only previous listed winner in the line-up and the runner-up one of the least exposed and already proven on testing ground; the pace was a good one.

ONASSIS (IRE) had shaped well in a better race the time before and, with her yard right back among the winners of late, had little issue carrying a penalty to land her second listed race of the season; waited with, smooth headway over 2f out, produced to lead over 1f out, always just in control thereafter; she's a likeable filly, though with a pedigree like hers it may be that the paddocks beckon now.

HELVEZIA (IRE) under more testing conditions, took a step forward upped in grade after 7 weeks off, beaten in a 0-80 the time before but little reason to doubt this effort; in touch, close up over 2f out, carried right briefly inside final 1f, kept on.

ELEGANT LIGHT ran respectably back up in grade/on testing ground, briefly looking like she might mount a challenge; soon steadied, shuffled back slightly around 3f out, headway under 2f out, edged right final 1f, one paced.

TOMORROW'S DREAM (FR) underperformed back down in trip, possibly unsuited by conditions; chased leaders, hung right from 2f out, not quicken over 1f out.

AFRAID OF NOTHING on turf for the first time this year, probably overdid things a bit after 8 weeks off; led until over 1f out, edged right, no extra.

GYPSY WHISPER spoiled her chance with a really tardy start; very slowly away, raced well off the pace, struggling 3f out, never on terms.
