quickly got back on the up, able to get to the front again this time, and, either side of his Hadyock effort, has looked most progressive since upped to 2m, major handicaps at this trip now in store, though it will be much harder to dominate those events; soon led, kicked on 3f out, in command over 1f out, kept on well.

wasn't seen to best effect, again shaping like an out-and-out stayer, not ridden quite as far back as usual but lacking the pace to get him out of trouble at a crucial stage; settled mid-field, not clear run under 4f out, edged right 3f out and bumped rival, had to wait for gap soon after, ran on late without being knocked about; there's a bigger performance in his locker when the emphasis is really on stamina.
