after just 3 days off, went one better than last time back at the scene of his win last year, producing a career best in this sphere, having the run of the race but, given his proven stamina, he may even have benefited from making it more of a test; made all, kicked on 3f out, tackled 2f out, kept on well final 1f; will remain of interest in similar events.

continues in top form and deserves plenty of credit for her consistency, yet to put a foot wrong this year; tracked pace, effort 2f out, every chance soon after, kept on; will continue to give a good account.

shaped as if still in good form, better than the distance beaten suggests, seeming to pay for a big move into contention just as the pace was lifting; raced off the pace, travelled well, good headway 4f out, weakened over 1f out.

A steadily-run staying handicap, the winner making all, but it's a result and form that makes sense with the majority of the runners arriving in good heart.

ARTHUR MC BRIDE (IRE) after just 3 days off, went one better than last time back at the scene of his win last year, producing a career best in this sphere, having the run of the race but, given his proven stamina, he may even have benefited from making it more of a test; made all, kicked on 3f out, tackled 2f out, kept on well final 1f; will remain of interest in similar events.

FLEETING VISIT wasn't disgraced without being at his best; in touch, pushed along under 3f out, faded final 1f.

ARTY CAMPBELL (IRE) shaped as if still in good form, better than the distance beaten suggests, seeming to pay for a big move into contention just as the pace was lifting; raced off the pace, travelled well, good headway 4f out, weakened over 1f out.

MISTER MANDURO (FR) the sole 3-y-o in the line up, ran no sort of race; prominent, weakened under 2f out.
