was very progressive at this track last year and made it 4 from 4 at Fontwell with a run behind him, posting a career best and value for a lot more than the winning margin too; raced wide, mid-division, travelled strongly, close up 3 out, drew clear quickly end of back straight, shaken up run-in, won easily; this was a very useful performance but the handicapper won't miss it and much more competitive handicaps await.

What looked quite a competitive summer handicap proved anything but as Chapmanshype proved a class apart giving weight away all round.

CHAPMANSHYPE (IRE) was very progressive at this track last year and made it 4 from 4 at Fontwell with a run behind him, posting a career best and value for a lot more than the winning margin too; raced wide, mid-division, travelled strongly, close up 3 out, drew clear quickly end of back straight, shaken up run-in, won easily; this was a very useful performance but the handicapper won't miss it and much more competitive handicaps await.

GATEWAY TO EUROPE is holding form well, placed again, but his mark is about right; held up, reminders circuit out, headway 4 out, kept on.

TREE OF LIBERTY (IRE) who'd had a wind operation, shaped as if better for the run after 6 months off; led, headed after 3 out, lost second 2 out, weakened run-in.
