got back on track and then some to belatedly build on debut promise; waited with, headway out wide early in straight, produced to lead over 1f out, drew clear, won cosily; her dam didn't reach her peak until she was a 4-y-o so it will be interesting to see if connections opt to keep her in training next year.

Useful form from the principals in this Group 3 that was rescued from Gowran Park's abandoned card last Saturday; the pace was sound and the lesser fancied of the Joseph O'Brien-trained pair came from the rear to win with plenty to spare.

MAXUX (IRE) got back on track and then some to belatedly build on debut promise; waited with, headway out wide early in straight, produced to lead over 1f out, drew clear, won cosily; her dam didn't reach her peak until she was a 4-y-o so it will be interesting to see if connections opt to keep her in training next year.

AMERICAN SONJA in first-time cheekpieces, again ran creditably but ultimately proved no match for an unexposed stable companion; chased leaders, smooth headway early in straight, led briefly over 1f out, kept on.

VILLAGE VOICE shaped as if still in good form and as if she will benefit from a return to 1¼m+; raced well off the pace, headway when forced to switch early in straight, had to pick way through, kept on, never nearer.

KERKIYRA (IRE) wasn't disgraced; mid-division, driven early, pushed along before home turn, third 1f out, one paced; acts well on soft/heavy ground so will be one to bear in mind at this sort of level in the coming weeks.

LADY LUNETTE (IRE) wasn't good enough up in grade; held up, ridden entering straight, kept on, never a threat.

EMPRESS OF BEAUTY (FR) was below form for the first time in her short career; steadied at the start, held up, headway entering straight, no extra final 1f, kept on, not persevered with once held.

JOUPE (IRE) ran poorly up in grade and back at an inadequate trip; always behind.

PINK CARNATION ran one of lesser races; soon led, shaken up entering straight, headed under 2f out, weakened.

STARRY HEAVENS (IRE) found run of good form coming to a halt; broke fast, tracked pace, close up entering straight, weakened.

TIME TO BOOGIE (USA) up in grade, ran no sort of race; tracked pace, ridden before home turn, weakened.
