coped fine with the step up in grade, following up last month's course maiden victory, that form having been boosted just a day earlier when the runner-up went very close to winning the valuable mares handicap at the Dublin Racing Festival; handy, typically travelled well, also jumped fluently, got gap early in straight, edged ahead 2 out, asserted flat; she appears to have plenty about her physically, and is likely to progress further, dropping back down in trip unlikely to be a problem given how well she goes through her races, so the Dawn Run will surely come under serious consideration now.

was well backed and ran well on form conceding weight to all her rivals, though she didn't travel quite so smoothly this time, possibly finding the test sharper than ideal; mid-division, went in snatches, took closer order after 3 out, not fluent next, every chance last, kept on.

easy to back, lost her unbeaten record, though continues to progress; waited with, some headway approaching 4 out, hit next, switched left early in straight, every chance 2 out, not fluent last, not quicken; whilst she holds an entry for the Supreme, the Dawn Run would seem a more suitable option if taking in the Cheltenham Festival, a race where she's likely to lock horns again with several of these.

upped in trip, ran at least as well as last time; in rear, took keen hold, untidy second, close up home turn, ridden between last 2, one paced; her form would be sufficient to win most mares maiden hurdles.

upped in trip, fared no better than last time (when also finishing behind Gauloise and Mighty Blue), shaping as if a stiffer test of stamina is already required; raced along inside, close up early, lost place after second, mistake fourth, driven after next, lost touch before 4 out, merely passed beaten horses.

faced a stiff task in this grade; mid-division, not settle fully, slow fifth, lost place before next, soon beaten; she showed fairly useful form in bumpers, and might take off over hurdles once qualified for handicaps.

A Grade 3 event that as usual brought together several promising types, and the form has a useful and solid feel to it, Roseys Hollow producing further improvement to see off the standard setters.

ROSEYS HOLLOW (IRE) coped fine with the step up in grade, following up last month's course maiden victory, that form having been boosted just a day earlier when the runner-up went very close to winning the valuable mares handicap at the Dublin Racing Festival; handy, typically travelled well, also jumped fluently, got gap early in straight, edged ahead 2 out, asserted flat; she appears to have plenty about her physically, and is likely to progress further, dropping back down in trip unlikely to be a problem given how well she goes through her races, so the Dawn Run will surely come under serious consideration now.

ROYAL KAHALA (IRE) was well backed and ran well on form conceding weight to all her rivals, though she didn't travel quite so smoothly this time, possibly finding the test sharper than ideal; mid-division, went in snatches, took closer order after 3 out, not fluent next, every chance last, kept on.

GAULOISE (FR) easy to back, lost her unbeaten record, though continues to progress; waited with, some headway approaching 4 out, hit next, switched left early in straight, every chance 2 out, not fluent last, not quicken; whilst she holds an entry for the Supreme, the Dawn Run would seem a more suitable option if taking in the Cheltenham Festival, a race where she's likely to lock horns again with several of these.

MIGHTY BLUE (FR) upped in trip, ran at least as well as last time; in rear, took keen hold, untidy second, close up home turn, ridden between last 2, one paced; her form would be sufficient to win most mares maiden hurdles.

KAPARD upped in trip, fared no better than last time (when also finishing behind Gauloise and Mighty Blue), shaping as if a stiffer test of stamina is already required; raced along inside, close up early, lost place after second, mistake fourth, driven after next, lost touch before 4 out, merely passed beaten horses.

BRAVE WAY (IRE) after 3 months off, failed to confirm previous form; soon led, raced freely, headed soon after second, led again briefly early in straight, weakened between last 2.

CASTRA VETERA (IRE) went backwards from hurdling bow 8 weeks earlier (when finishing 3¼ lengths ahead of Roseys Hollow), not really excused by the longer trip; close up, edged ahead after second, headed soon after fourth, led again briefly after 3 out, weakening when untidy next.

LADY HEATH (IRE) faced a stiff task in this grade; mid-division, not settle fully, slow fifth, lost place before next, soon beaten; she showed fairly useful form in bumpers, and might take off over hurdles once qualified for handicaps.

DELVINO (IRE) was too free; prominent, edged ahead soon after fourth, headed after 3 out, weakening when not fluent last 2.
