didn't need to be at her best to take her unbeaten record under Rules to 9 (6 of those wins at this track), a canny ride which utilised her speed meaning she was able to win despite conceding race fitness to the second and third; never far away, travelled well, upsides 3 out, quickened 2 out, closed down run-in but far enough clear jumping last to hold on; she's wonderfully consistent and will continue to take all the beating wherever she shows up next, reportedly set to try and defend her Irish Champion Hurdle crown early next year.

Honeysuckle wasn't as flashy as when winning this by 9 lengths 12 months ago but got the job done against 4 horses who'd already had a run this season, Rachael Blackmore making the most of her mount's speed in a steadily-run affair, while Ronald Pump finishing off best.

HONEYSUCKLE didn't need to be at her best to take her unbeaten record under Rules to 9 (6 of those wins at this track), a canny ride which utilised her speed meaning she was able to win despite conceding race fitness to the second and third; never far away, travelled well, upsides 3 out, quickened 2 out, closed down run-in but far enough clear jumping last to hold on; she's wonderfully consistent and will continue to take all the beating wherever she shows up next, reportedly set to try and defend her Irish Champion Hurdle crown early next year.
