is improving in leaps and bounds, making up for lost time since sent chasing, running these into the ground as he followed up from Gowran 9 weeks on; handy, took strong hold, jumped well, went on soon after sixth, going well when reduced advantage 3 out, asserted between last 2, won easily; he races on his nerves but would be worth his place in a useful handicap.

got back on track after 4 months off, a couple of mistakes preventing him coming further clear of the rest; waited with, not settle fully, hit third, smooth headway 5 out, effort when blundered 2 out, kept on, no match for winner.

is proving most expensive to follow, not much to like about this display for all he stayed in it for a good while; handy, jumped sketchily, early reminders, remained prominent, driven entering straight, left behind by winner between last 2, lost second near finish.

Non Runners: TULPAR (IRE). Fences: 16.

Winning Owner: J.Victory/Exors of the late J.Kerrigan

Time: 5m 11.2s Closing Sectional: (2.40f): 36.00s (103.7%)

Overrounds: Industry SP 123%, Betfair SP 100.8%

The conditions of this race - restricted to those rated 123 or less - naturally caps the quality of the form but there could be little crabbing a winner who didn't have to come off the bridle until the race was already pretty much in safe keeping, several in behind not jumping/travelling half as well.
