MALINA GIRL (IRE) found one too good in this race for the second year running; chased leader, effort 3 out, every chance last, ran on.

LA MALMASON (IRE) remains in good form, worst placed of the first 3 through a steadily-run race and also perhaps finding her stamina stretched; raced wide, held up, took closer order early final circuit, in touch 3 out, mistake next, no extra flat; her recent handicap efforts should give her an excellent chance of winning a similar race back over shorter.

LADY BALKO (FR) in first-time cheekpieces, ran better than on her last 2 starts but is no longer thriving like she was in December; held up, ridden 4 out, left behind from 2 out.

ILOVETHENIGHTLIFE first and foremost wasn't up to this better company; mid-division, off pace early final circuit, in touch again thirteenth, outpaced 4 out, weakened 2 out.
