has been a bit of a frustrating horse at times but, much like his yard's recent Ladbrokes Trophy winner, found the switch to front-running tactics in first-time cheekpieces unlocking a career-best effort, both his victories over fences now coming under this excellent rider; made all, shaken up approaching 4 out, not fluent last 2 but kept going well.

The thriving Innisfree Lad and unexposed Go Whatever headed the betting for an interesting race of its type but in the end a recent C&D handicap proved key to the result, both Cobolobo and Butterwick Brook reversing form with Crossley Tender, the winner better than ever in first-time cheekpieces.

COBOLOBO (FR) has been a bit of a frustrating horse at times but, much like his yard's recent Ladbrokes Trophy winner, found the switch to front-running tactics in first-time cheekpieces unlocking a career-best effort, both his victories over fences now coming under this excellent rider; made all, shaken up approaching 4 out, not fluent last 2 but kept going well.

EDEN DU HOUX (FR) back in headgear, ran well on form under a more patient ride than previously over fences but was again lacking a bit in the finish, looking like he may play a bigger part early in the straight; waited with, steady headway from tenth, not fluent eleventh, took fourth 2 out, effort flattened out.
