made the most of a good opportunity, hardly having to improve on the form of his chasing debut, but there was again a lot to like about the way he did things and he looks sure to hold his own in stronger races; jumped accurately, travelled well, made most, looked in control 4 out, shaken up approaching last, kept on, had bit in hand; sure to progress again.

couldn't extend his sequence of seconds to 4, but he ran at least as well as he had in any of the 3 recent runs, going a bit more smoothly than he had last time; handy, jumped on eighth, headed tenth, ridden before 4 out, not quicken, kept on run-in, made little impression.

was beaten a long way, but shaped as if in decent form, constantly losing ground by jumping left telling against him in the end; held up, jumped left, took keen hold, headway eighth, shaken up before 4 out, weakened next.
