A really strong renewal of this listed race, plenty of these regulars at a higher level, and the form has a very solid look to it, the in-form Caspian Prince setting a new track record.

CASPIAN PRINCE (IRE) in top form at present, proved at least as good as ever as he completed the hat-trick, gaining an overdue first success at this level into the bargain; broke fast, made all, tackled final 1f, stuck to task; is reportedly set to head back to Dubai Carnival.

MOVIESTA (USA) back down in trip, wasted no time getting back to form, things panning out ideally for him; mid-division, last off the bridle, ran on, just failed; circumstances unlikely to be so favourable next time.

MEDICEAN MAN back on polytrack, ran at least as well as last time; mid-division, headway on inner over 1f out, kept on, never nearer.

THE HAPPY PRINCE (IRE) back on polytrack, ran well under the circumstances, penalized for his Renaissance Stakes win and returned to a barely adequate trip, a busy campaign clearly not having caught up with him yet; mid-division, ridden early in straight, kept on.

CHICLET (IRE) wasn't disgraced after 3 months off, this a grade above she normally competes at; prominent, driven 2f out, no extra final 100 yds.

GOLDREAM fared no better than last time, perhaps just not the force of old; close up, effort early in straight, weakened final 1f.

CALLENDER (IRE) the only 2-y-o in the field, ran about as well as could have been expected upped in grade, well worth another try at this level, the pace this was run at a bit of a shock to the system; held up, struggled with pace, kept on, not unduly punished, nearest at the finish; likely to stay 6f.

DOUBLE UP back on polytrack, ran one of this season's lesser races; chased leaders, ridden early in straight, carried head bit awkwardly, not clear run over 1f out, one paced.

FINE BLEND (IRE) making all-weather debut, ran as well as entitled to; held up, never going pace, kept on, never nearer.

MASTER SPEAKER (IRE) back on polytrack, is best not judged on this run, out the back not the place to be here; in rear, struggled with pace, kept on, never a threat, left .
