Overrounds: Industry SP 115%, Betfair SP 99.7%

A useful handicap which saw a couple of progressive types draw clear, the runner-up always in the right place in a steadily-run affair but worn down in good style by one from a thriving yard, the third and fourth both shaping well in contrasting manners.

RED KELLY (FR) whose stable is thriving, is most progressive and defied a hefty rise in good style over 3f longer trip, reeling in one that had the run of things quite readily in the end; mid-field, headway over 3f out, ridden 2f out, stayed on to lead final 1f, kept going well; will remain of interest.

SUNCHART showed himself to be a useful performer, albeit seen to maximum effect with an easy enough lead, making much more impact down markedly in grade; led, ridden over 2f out, headed final 1f, kept on, pulled clear of remainder, had the run of the race.

BABY ZEUS (IRE) shaped well, moving through the race as if on a good mark, perhaps just stretched by the 3f longer trip; in touch, travelled well, bumped rail 5f out, challenged on bridle over 1f out, no extra last ½f; remains with potential.

AESOP (IRE) ran well making handicap debut over 3f longer trip, not seen to best effect; held up, headway out wide over 2f out, kept on, left poorly placed; will remain of interest.

EMPEROR OF THE SUN (IRE) ran to form in the end but struggled to land a serious blow over 3f longer trip, though he wasn't best placed the way this unfolded; in rear, ridden over 2f out, plugged on.

SPRINGBANK (IRE) had a 6 lb rise to contend with upped in grade and failed to improve over 3f longer trip; prominent, ridden over 3f out, no extra final 1f.

SILVERTOWN (IRE) failed to improve over 3f longer trip, has little in hand from present mark; prominent, raced freely, ridden over 2f out, weakened.

MARCHONS ENSEMBLE was hit with a big rise in the weights for a near miss on reappearance and failed to build on the promise of that run upped in trip; mid-field, ridden over 2f out, made little impression.

FIRSTMAN (FR) followed a below-par effort with an even worse one; mid-field, weakened 2f out.

CHINA'S STORM (IRE) failed to come on for recent run; dwelt, always behind.
