A Park Hill lacking a standout, but that made for an exciting race, several coming to challenge the leader in the straight and one even going past her briefly, but Santorini Star showed a fine attitude to fight back.

SANTORINI STAR (IRE) boasts not only a progressive profile but a fine attitude to boot, notching a Group 2 success amid a real purple patch for her connections; led, tackled over 3f out, headed narrowly over 1f out, led again entering last ½f, battled well; she's in the Prix de Royallieu over this sort of trip on Arc weekend and although she'll likely need to do more in form terms, is entitled to take her chance on the back of this, unlikely there'll be a stronger stayer than her lining up.

CONSENT (IRE) improved further in an even higher grade stepped up in trip, avoiding trouble this time but plainly still a little rough around the edges which proved the difference against a teak-tough year-older winner; in touch, chased leaders 3f out, close up when edged left briefly under 2f out, produced to lead narrowly over 1f out, headed entering last ½f, kept on; open to yet more improvement.

CREPE SUZETTE (IRE) backed up all and more of her Galtres improvement in this higher grade, not only staying this longer trip but looking firmly suited by it in fact, doing her best work at the finish having began her run from further back than the main challenger to the front-running winner.

DANIELLE had every chance and couldn't run quite as well as at Goodwood; prominent, intimidated briefly under 2f out, rallied until last ½f; she plainly acts on good but she goes very well on testing ground and that's worth bearing in mind heading deeper into the autumn.

FLORESTA (IRE) backed up previous effort in this higher grade; mid-field, progress under 3f out, keeping on when edged left under 2f out, no further impression; she's a big, lengthy filly with few miles on the clock so may yet be able to up her game a bit further.

CHORUS ran up to best in any case but probably paid slightly for putting it up to the game winner some way out stepping up in trip; awkward leaving stalls, tracked pace, effort on far rail 3f out, challenged briefly, no extra final 1f.

ZILFEE showed improved form but wasn't able to get particularly competitive stepping right up from winning a thin maiden; held up, effort under 3f out, one paced, not unduly punished.

ELANA OSARIO was found out by the combination of longer trip and higher grade; in touch, raced freely, no threat from 2f out.

SECRET OF LOVE after 8 weeks off, was a bit out of her depth in this grade, this not conclusive proof of her stamina; soon steadied, took strong hold, left behind over 1f out.

QUEENS FORT was never involved having missed the break returning after 15 months off.

STRASSIA (FR) a good-bodied filly who was sold from Ludovic Gadbin for €165,000 in July, was well below her best after 6 months off; steadied at the start, patiently ridden, left behind over 2f out.
