whose stable is going well now, went one better than last time, pulling clear with an unexposed sort; typically jumped soundly, led until after third, remained prominent, pushed along 3 out, produced to lead again soon after next, tackled run-in, just held on; he's still very lightly raced for his age yet is eligible for veterans events.

strong in the betting in first-time tongue strap, is a likeable type and shaped well, going down fighting; went with enthusiasm, led after third, pressed on 4 out, not fluent 2 out (jumped well otherwise), headed soon after, rallied flat, just lost out; still has 3m to explore and will remain of plenty of interest, the yard enjoying a fine season after all.

back down in trip, left chasing debut form 9 weeks earlier well behind reverted to positive tactics, this on a par with his hurdling best, though there's still room for improvement in his jumping and he did also hint at why cheekpieces have been applied; raced wide, handy, effort when untidy again 3 out, held between last 2, carried head bit awkwardly.
