progressed again, though well served by a position near the rail, storming through having still been near last 1f out; in rear, ridden over 2f out, headway 1f out, stayed on strongly inside final 1f, led final strides; he's very much a sprinter on looks, even if he isn't overly big, which might raise concerns about how he will train on.

ran just to a similar (useful) level as last time, though clearly worth another try on softer ground before his Molecomb run can be taken as flattering him; in touch, pushed along halfway, headway over 1f out, led briefly near line, ran on.

ran at least as well as when winning at Longchamp the previous week and is perhaps even better than the result, making her effort away from the first 2 towards the centre; chased leader, ridden over 2f out, led over 1f out, hung right, kept on, headed near line.

showed lots of speed in first-time cheekpieces and ran his best race, having the advantage of the rail, though doing well to sustain his effort, given the pace set; led until halfway, ridden after, remained prominent, kept on inside final 1f.

under a change of tactics, showed much more what she is about than she had at York, finding the sort of improvement that might have been anticipated from her wins in the spring, plus she met trouble as she tried to come through; soon steadied, effort 2f out, not clear run twice over 1f out, kept on near line, never on terms.

Armor stood out on form, more than good enough to win an average running of this race on his effort in the Molecomb, but he failed to repeat that form for the second start running, though only just denied in a tight finish, with a length covering the first 4 home, the winner coming from an unpromising position 1f out; in terms of physique, there weren't many in this field that look obvious types to make better 3-yos.

CATURRA (IRE) progressed again, though well served by a position near the rail, storming through having still been near last 1f out; in rear, ridden over 2f out, headway 1f out, stayed on strongly inside final 1f, led final strides; he's very much a sprinter on looks, even if he isn't overly big, which might raise concerns about how he will train on.
