was more at home having a second attempt at this sort of trip, reversing Goodwood form with Pilaster to the tune of more than 5 lengths, better suited to this different tempo, able to utilise her turn of foot in this much more steadily-run affair; mid-field, travelled fluently (touch keen early on), challenged under 2f out, every chance entering final 1f, asserted final 100 yds, idled slightly close home but always holding on; she's a consistent and likeable filly who should continue to give her running.

had no issues with the 3f longer trip, at least in a steadily-run contest, but was just undone by her 3-lb penalty; handy, settled fine, produced to lead under 2f out, tackled entering final 1f, headed final 100 yds, kept on; she flopped in the Fillies' And Mares' Stakes on Champions Day last year but she's an improved horse this year and wouldn't be one to dismiss lightly at likely biggish odds if turning up there again.

after 6 weeks off, backed up her Goodwood improvement despite not seen to as good effect this time, the steady gallop not suiting her so well as the first pair, ridden from further back too; patiently ridden, shaken up and briefly outpaced 3f out, headway over 1f out, best work finish; she remains with potential, the type to do even better at 4 yrs if kept in training.

ran up to best, though had the run of the race back up in trip and she was readily brushed aside when the contest really developed; soon led, headed 3f out, kept on, no match for principals.

in first-time cheekpieces after 6 weeks off, maintained her record of run-to-run improvement upped in trip, just a bit out of her depth in this company but there should be more races to be won with her; chased leader, edged ahead briefly over 2f out, not quicken over 1f out, no match for principals.

All 7 ran. Race Distance Adjustment: +6 yds

Winning Owner: St Albans Bloodstock Limited

Time: 3m 9.77s Closing Sectional: (3.00f): 35.65s (110.0%)

A solid renewal of the Park Hill, run at a steady gallop, the race not developing until 3f out, though the main players still separated themselves readily; the way the race unfolded suited the first pair more than the third, though there was a sense that the winner was only just doing enough.

GOD GIVEN was more at home having a second attempt at this sort of trip, reversing Goodwood form with Pilaster to the tune of more than 5 lengths, better suited to this different tempo, able to utilise her turn of foot in this much more steadily-run affair; mid-field, travelled fluently (touch keen early on), challenged under 2f out, every chance entering final 1f, asserted final 100 yds, idled slightly close home but always holding on; she's a consistent and likeable filly who should continue to give her running.
